The movie follows an independent filmmaker and his spouse as they reside in a house purported to be haunted, with the intention of creating a documentary about paranormal activity. Shot using a ‘found footage’ format, it wasn't terrible. My main problem was with the two lead characters; I didn’t find them appealing, and their interactions resembled dislike more than those of a married couple. The time spent observing them and anticipating events made even the brief length feel extended. While the ending had some unsettling parts and offered moments of quality, it ultimately felt like just another ‘Ghost Hunters’ episode – I anticipated something greater.
