It’s got some unsettling visuals, and the performances were generally okay; I suppose it functions adequately as a low-budget horror-thriller. However, the birds themselves didn't really strike me as frightening. It ranks among the less impressive of the Hitchcock films I’ve watched. **3.25/5**
