I have to admit, I'm let down by how things concluded. **SPOILERS AHEAD:** "I AM YOUR MOTHER!" Does that ring a bell? It’s a line from another film—a horror movie with some similarities to this one. The movie itself is decent enough. I really wanted to see a supernatural battle between a crow and a witch, but I'm sad we didn't get that. And Bette turns out to be the granddaughter; as far as I can tell, that isn’t made clear until the very end. It seems like the idea is that the grandmother’s mental state is what causes the strange reality we experience throughout the film. The movie is fine. I was just kinda hoping for a supernatural crow-witch showdown, and I am disappointed that we did not get it. Saying it repeatedly makes me feel less upset about it, though.
