It really should be left behind. I figure most people enjoy cheesy things, but I’m not sure that applies to movies. It’s genuinely difficult to get through this film because it's overwhelmed by tastelessness and poor judgment. The problems begin with the writing; it’s so nonsensical that I honestly lost track of what was happening, which rarely occurs, even when watching truly terrible films. The visuals, characterized by murky colors and an unpleasant aesthetic, don’t hide the cheaply made sets and costumes that seem pulled from a low-budget comic book. Naturally, the main performers are scantily clad whenever possible. Some things just always help sell a movie, regardless of its quality. Marc Singer and Tanya Roberts lead the cast. I believe they've never been particularly skilled actors, though she did have a role in a James Bond film. Even so, compared to the rest of the largely untalented performers, they seem like genuine stars. I’m somewhat taken aback that they created a sequel to such a flawed movie, but it was the 80s, and the trends of that decade are now viewed with skepticism in many ways.
