The film has a striking visual style and feels very distinctive, though it does borrow from other works somewhat. The relationships between the characters and its generally upbeat tone prevented that from being a major issue for me; I enjoyed watching it. It was also neat to notice that the actor who delivers the line “Marmalade” in PADDINGTON 2 plays Professor Marmalade here.
