This is a really good film, possibly even surpassing the original. The movie largely consists of fast-moving action sequences from almost the very start, and it only escalates from there. Similar to the first installment, if you’re looking for a humorous take on heist films or something akin to the over-the-top nature of Fast and Furious, this is likely to appeal to you. You'll find elaborate and somewhat convoluted schemes, absurd action set pieces, and genuinely endearing characters, interspersed with brief respites where you can see the "Bad Guys" attempting to find alternative employment. Those who enjoyed them in the first film will be pleased to see more of the same here. While primarily a comedy, there are serious moments and underlying themes about friendship, minor surprises, and several instances that elicit laughter, all featuring characters with a clear sense of affection for one another. There’s even a brief scene showcasing a younger Webs wearing braces! It's hard to believe how adorable a spider can be! The villains introduced in the trailer are welcome additions, each possessing their own unique personalities. Kitty also bears a resemblance to Tai Lung, which is pretty neat. Regarding the technical aspects—and I’m not really qualified to assess them fully—everything looks great with fluid and rapid animation, and I especially appreciated the gold particle effects in one particular scene! The facial expressions are also quite charming, just as they were in the first film. So yes, I definitely recommend it! It's nowhere near as emotionally impactful as films like Coco or Toy Story 3, but it’s a nice opportunity to simply enjoy some lightheartedness instead of feeling compelled to cry during what should be a comedy! Go see it! -- (As an addition to some of the other reviews you might find elsewhere: yes, there are many attractive characters! Kitty's physique is impressive, Diane has lovely legs and Webs is cuter than ever. 😁)
