I had such high hopes for _The Bad Batch_, given how much its style resonated with my tastes, and I honestly couldn't imagine disliking it. While I didn’t dislike it, this experience has left me concerned about how a broader audience will react. It feels like if someone with my particular preferences only found it enjoyable, then those without that specific appreciation might not have a positive impression. My guess is that the reception won't be overwhelmingly good. Final rating: ★★½ - There was a lot to appreciate, but ultimately it didn’t quite gel together.
