This film follows a man’s search for truth, and it's an adaptation of the French novel 'The Assassination.' While I found it enjoyable overall, I did have reservations about some aspects. The filmmakers seemed to be striving for intellectualism by maintaining neutrality, but that approach didn't quite work. The issue is that it’s grounded in a real-world setting and genuine conflict, yet certain details were left out; this resulted in bans in several countries. Despite that, I appreciated how the story focused on human curiosity and emotion. Initially, I considered it merely an acceptable movie until the final plot development. It wasn't particularly elaborate, but rather straightforward and impactful. The filmmaking itself was quite impressive, and it could have been a serious Oscar contender. I wanted to give it a higher score, but something feels off since it’s based on real events presented as fiction. I would suggest seeing it, because your perspective might lead you to experience it differently. 7/10
