It seems like a movie primed to generate strong reactions from people with differing political views, even those who haven't watched _The_ _Assignment_, and I feel confident in saying that. Setting aside all of that, though, I found it to be pretty good. It does rely on some familiar elements that didn’t completely click for me—specifically, the film employs two different narrative structures that present things from various perspectives, and it appeared as if Sigourney Weaver's involvement was limited to a single day on set. Despite those issues, I found myself drawn into the plot, which felt fresh and original. I've been lucky lately with movie titles—_Inconceivable_ included—that are delightfully unsuitable wordplay. _Final rating:★★½ - There were many things that resonated with me, but it didn’t fully succeed as a complete package._
