There’s no shortage of exorcism films out there, countless ones have been made, but this one simply doesn’t offer anything new. It feels like just another imitation among many similar movies. What's disappointing is that even some of those lesser films managed to be frightening, yet this one fails at even that basic level. The pacing is painfully slow and the experience becomes tedious very quickly. The filmmakers also overused the chromatic aberration effect; it’s so prevalent and intense that I struggled to get through the entire movie.
