The scary parts didn’t really begin until later in the movie. The storyline itself wasn’t very captivating; the characters are at a house deep in the forest where they’re logging trees. During that tree-cutting process, they seem to have stirred up some kind of spirit or apparition. I found myself losing interest as it progressed. While the performances were adequate and the special effects were well done, the writing felt sluggish and dull. Would I recommend it? If you're a fan of horror movies with this particular premise, then you likely won’t be let down. Otherwise, it’s probably not worth your time. I’m rating it a 4 out of 10. I do appreciate the work that went into making it, though.
