The Accountant arrived as a surprising action film featuring distinctive characters. Chris Wolff, portrayed by Ben Affleck, is a skilled and methodical assassin who also works as a forensic accountant due to having high functioning autism—an unusual protagonist for an action movie, and his portrayal is remarkably well done. What truly distinguishes the film, though, is its writing; every scene and character feels original and leaves a lasting impression. The action set pieces are superb, the cast is impressive, and the quality of the script collectively pushes The Accountant far beyond standard action movies, establishing it as an exceptional choice for fans of the genre.
