The sequel, "The Accountant 2," is unexpectedly better than the first film, largely because of the filmmakers' decision to center the story on the bond between Ben Affleck and Jon Bernthal. The action sequences are more refined, there are some truly amusing moments sprinkled throughout, and enough emotional resonance to keep viewers invested. Gavin O’Connor has created a narrative that is both exciting and enjoyable, though it doesn't quite reach the level of a classic because of too many distracting subplots and instances where the storyline feels scattered. Regardless, the strong connection between the two main actors, along with an earnest – albeit flawed – effort to address serious subjects thoughtfully, makes I would suggest seeing this movie if you’re seeking a good time at the cinema. Rating: B+
