A pact made between two close friends—a promise written on a napkin to marry one another if they're both single a decade later—forms the basis for this story. One friend, “Myles” (played by Jack Turner), is a lawyer with a romantic heart who tends to overdo things and faces repeated rejections. His go-to comfort afterward involves sharing chocolate with his pal, “Brody” (Michael Adam Hamilton). Brody, a confident police officer, has no problem attracting men but avoids anything beyond fleeting encounters. Their friends and colleagues alike believe the two are perfect for each other, yet they remain oblivious to this obvious connection. Then "Myles" encounters "Hunter" (Adam Bucci), sparking a feeling of possibility—only for Brody to also take an interest. The movie leans heavily on familiar tropes and predictable plot points, but the performances from the leads hold your attention. What sets it apart is its straightforward portrayal of everyday life; there’s nothing remarkable about these characters being gay. The interactions between “Brody” and his partner “Richard” (Moronai Kanekoa) are particularly amusing, with playful banter arising from Brody's romantic conquests and the accessories that accompany them, while Richard experiences less success in his own romantic pursuits.
