It’s genuinely humorous; I haven’t laughed as much during a Disney movie before now. *That Darn Cat!* is an enjoyable film to experience. The story idea itself isn't handled perfectly, but it's still funny and easy to get into. The acting is excellent; Hayley Mills and Dean Jones really elevate the performances of everyone around them, and all of the characters feel well-chosen for their parts. DC, the cat, is also quite endearing. Mills takes on the role of Patti while Jones plays Kelso. I found both of their portrayals to be good. Ed Wynn has a pleasant, brief appearance, similar to his part in *Those Calloways*. No one else particularly shines, but everyone contributes something worthwhile to their characters. I would have liked to see more from the antagonists, since they were well-cast. What’s presented is acceptable, but they could have had a more significant role. The film also feels like it goes on for about 10 to 15 minutes longer than necessary. If you get a chance, I recommend watching this; it's an entertaining way to spend some time.
