It’s hard to shake the feeling that this was an initial version. I’m a fan of The Daily Wire and their projects generally, and this film seemed promising. While I did find it enjoyable, there's room for improvement. The technical aspects—the production quality, visuals, performances—are all very good. However, the script itself felt underdeveloped, like something you’d see in early stages of creation. There wasn't enough groundwork laid to explain even simple choices and actions made by the characters. For example, Gina’s character just seems to instinctively realize that certain people are bad guys; her husband unexpectedly becomes aware that his family is at risk without any warning, and there’s no introduction or explanation for our central villain—no insight into what drives them, what they hope to achieve, nothing like that.
