It began reasonably well, considering the genre of movies about people being kept prisoner by eccentric residents. However, the latter portion was truly disappointing; the performances up to that point were noticeably better than what's typical for this type of movie, but then a new character is brought in and steals the attention. This person looks like Bryan Adams styled by Fabio’s stylist, and his acting is remarkably poor—on par with how I picture Fabio performing, actually. From the moment he appears, the quality just plummets, culminating in a very sudden conclusion. I'd give the first half a 6/10, while the second half barely earns a 3/10. Nothing positive to report.
