This latest installment in the series manages to be a fairly successful revival, featuring some enjoyable action sequences and visual effects that are generally well-done, even if certain moments felt a little inconsistent. I found myself enjoying the performances of the two newcomers quite a bit, and Linda Hamilton and Arnold Schwarzenegger were perfectly adequate in their roles. However, it’s obvious this story shouldn't have continued past the initial pair of films—I might be willing to make an exception for "The Sarah Connor Chronicles." What does keep it afloat is that from a technical standpoint, it proved to be an amusing movie to watch while eating popcorn, but like “Genysis” (which I also happened to enjoy), I’m not certain I'll want to see it again anytime soon. **3.5/5**
