Following "The Terminator," over ten years pass, and two cyborgs journey through time with different missions: one tasked with safeguarding John Connors, while the other aims to terminate him. The considerable success of the initial movie allowed for an expansive budget on this installment, which is evident in the impressive special effects and intense action sequences. It's frequently regarded as the strongest entry in the "Terminator" series, though some feel it’s overly polished and miss the gritty, economical aesthetic of the first film.
