It had the potential to be terrible, but the movie manages to succeed with impressive stunts, a superb cast, and a compelling narrative. The film directly addresses humanity's future, prompting reflection on our species' trajectory and what actions we can take now to alter it. The plot creates an experience that feels like one of the most realistic portrayals of time travel in cinema. The action sequences are exceptional, featuring constant fighting, car chases, and military operations designed to keep viewers engaged. This is combined with a talented ensemble and skillful storytelling from the director. I’d even go so far as to say it surpasses the original film, which remains a classic in its own right. I've likely watched this movie somewhere between 20 and 30 times over the past 25 years (can that really be how long?!), and I never tire of it. It’s a timeless piece of cinema that I encourage everyone to experience.
