About halfway through the movie, something remarkable happens; everything begins to feel connected. Before that point, the film was enjoyable, featuring impressive action sequences and Nolan's signature expansive style. However, the core concept—"time inversion"—seemed almost unnecessary to the story, though it did provide a unique visual element that set it apart from typical spy movies. Then comes this key scene—a straightforward act of passing through a doorway—and suddenly you understand how that visual device will be woven into the rest of the narrative and how much of the initial hour served as groundwork for what’s to come. It's less of a traditional twist and more like a visual clarification, something the film has been building towards. Nolan took a risk by delaying this reveal so long, and you can sense that the first half is deliberately obscuring aspects of the plot. This might mean some viewers won’t be fully engaged enough to continue, but if you stick with it, there's a rush of excitement from anticipating what lies ahead, and the film delivers truly spectacular action sequences that are incredibly rewarding for those who have been following closely. The acting is excellent, with Branagh really hamming it up, and the music has that familiar Zimmer sound—loud and impactful. It doesn’t quite reach the same level as *Inception*, but its scale is equally impressive, and it's sure to spark a lot of discussions and analyses trying to piece together each character's path through the film. Ultimately, it was very good, although there were moments where I wasn’t so sure.
