I’m willing to overlook the shaky camera work designed to conceal Liam Neeson's limitations, accept the predictable reliance on bigger explosions as budgets increase in these kinds of series, and even tolerate a plot device similar to what caused controversy in _Taken 3_. However, I find it impossible to excuse just how absurdly illogical the film becomes after its midpoint. Roughly every few minutes, my roommate or I would shout in disbelief at events unfolding before us, criticizing the foolish and nonsensical choices of the characters. The movie’s later sections simply defy comprehension. Final rating:★½: - Boring/disappointing. Avoid where possible.
