It’s remarkable how slowly things unfold in this film. The visuals are striking, centering on a group of attractive young men who gather for a weekend and spend a significant portion of the time unclothed and under the influence while talking about their past or future romantic encounters. Beyond that, however, it's hard to say what the movie is actually about—or perhaps I overlooked something? From fairly early on, there’s an indication that Gabriel Epstein, playing "Germán," is attracted to his taekwondo friend Lucas Papa ("Fer"), but the circuitous path this narrative takes makes for a frustratingly drawn-out progression toward any kind of connection. It's not necessarily about needing constant sexual activity; it's more that there should be some consistent focus throughout. Ultimately, very little occurs.
