However, I do wonder how well it will be received by audiences outside of Australia, regardless of their familiarity with the period depicted. I’d welcome perspectives from viewers who aren't Australian to gauge whether its charm extends beyond those boundaries, as I have some reservations about its broader appeal. It also appeared that _Swinging Safari_ drew inspiration from Paul Jennings’ story _Greensleeves_ for a secondary storyline, though there’s no acknowledgment of this which is quite odd. My rating:★★★½ - It was genuinely enjoyable and I would definitely suggest checking it out.
