It was an unremarkable film; I doubt I’ll revisit it and can’t really suggest it unless you have a particular interest in swimming or films centered around that activity. I had believed Peyton List possessed the ability to hold up a movie on her own, and Olivia Nardini is wonderful, but the narrative has layers of psychological depth that I don't believe are adequately presented. This stems from some characters having their complexities concealed until later, which feels superfluous, and also because they didn’t allow those characters to directly confront these issues. Much of the film involves her acting like a moody or irritated person, but it remains fairly pleasant to watch. I suspect this is largely thanks to the strong performances from everyone involved. Although I wouldn't say seeing this movie was time wasted, there are simply more worthwhile options available.
