Jesse Bradford portrays “Ben,” a high school swimming champion who seems to have everything – popularity, good looks, and a girlfriend named “Amy” (Shiri Appleby). However, things take a turn with the appearance of "Madison" (Erika Christiansen), who sets out to seduce him. Predictably, Ben gives in to her advances, even doing so at the pool, and then attempts to return to his previous relationship. But "Madison" isn't willing to let go easily, and when he tries to move on, she makes his life miserable. Bradford seems too old for the role, and the plot itself has significant problems; while the character displays a lack of commitment, the story feels overly artificial even within the context of teen movies, culminating in an absurd conclusion. Essentially, it serves as a showcase for Bradford’s looks, with echoes of "Fatal Attraction" (1987) that felt rushed and unevenly handled, competently acted but ultimately superficial.
