It strikes me as an unusual choice to center a film around a female protagonist, populate it with other female characters, and then call it "_Superman/Batman_", but I'm willing to go along with it. Considering how difficult it was to get something like this produced, particularly in 2010, perhaps I should simply be thankful that it exists. As for the movie itself, it’s decent; it possesses a strange combination of being both straightforward and perplexing—a seeming contradiction that superhero movies often unintentionally fall into. Still, it isn't entirely formulaic. _Final rating:★★½ - There was much to like, but ultimately it didn’t quite come together._
