The premise involves four American counselors establishing a summer camp in Spain who then suddenly transform into psychotic killers. (a long sigh) The method by which they are affected and how that happens is well-conceived and rather original. That element held significant promise for a truly good film. Unfortunately, the creative team chose to portray the main characters as incredibly foolish. I became so annoyed with their actions after just one of them was impacted that I lost interest in their fates. And that level of poor decision-making never got better. It’s such a disappointing squandering of an interesting concept.
