The movie recounts the actual incident that occurred on January 15, 2009, when a U.S. passenger plane experienced engine failure shortly after takeoff due to bird strikes and made an emergency landing in New York’s Hudson River. The story details both the heroic actions taken and the subsequent investigation into the event. As with many Hollywood productions, it presents a narrative of American heroism—though it remains a worthwhile film with a captivating storyline. The movie extends beyond simply depicting the plane incident; I felt that one of the promotional images gave away too much, suggesting there’s more to the story about the events surrounding the central event, particularly how those lives were saved and the impact this had on people outside of America. The narrative focuses on a period of roughly two or three days, but the majority of the film centers around the crash landing itself. The acting and visuals are all exceptional quality. It’s among the finest biographical films I've seen, focusing not on an entire life story but rather on one extraordinary act that will ensure both the individual and the movie are remembered. _8/10_
