S.K. Dale’s “Subservience” is a worthwhile addition to Sci-Fi thrillers. Megan Fox gives a wonderful performance as an android; she creates a fascinating combination of impassiveness and delicate feeling in her character. The storyline might feel familiar at times, and it doesn't explore its ideas with great complexity, but the film still provides a diverting time. There’s a noticeable distance between the other performers and viewers, which makes connecting with their characters challenging. It’s peculiar how this separation actually benefits the story, because it encourages people to support the android. The movie isn’t particularly innovative, but it's an enjoyable choice for those who like stories set in the future and are interested in the changing idea of artificial intelligence.
