I'm not opposed to musicals, however, my main concern with _Strange Magic_ is the musical choices made throughout. I didn’t care for the singing voices of nearly every character, and the constant stream of obvious pop songs from start to finish ultimately undermined what appeared to be a potentially good film. _Final rating:★★ - It had elements that resonated with me, but it didn't quite come together well._
