It's a decent horror film that initially impresses as a mockumentary-style drama centered on a serial killer operating in San Bernardino county, though it becomes strange about halfway through. Certain scenes appeared genuine, while others shifted to a found footage approach which disrupted my engagement with the story. The killer’s methods were also erratic; some killings felt carefully planned, whereas others seemed almost comical. Before any reason for these inconsistencies could be offered, the film simply concluded, leaving numerous unanswered questions and a feeling of frustration. Ultimately, the movie lost its momentum toward the finish. I was expecting some kind of revelation, but it never arrived. It was quite disappointing.
