The film feels noticeably older when held up against contemporary science fiction, though it’s important to remember its 1994 release date. It earns its place due to its originality; I don't believe any other film has explored a similar premise. The concept of alien beings constructing the pyramids is undeniably fascinating. While I enjoy Kurt Russell’s work, he seems to have been completely disengaged during filming.
