It makes me think of those movies that really shaped my childhood; I remember waiting for two hours to get into a showing when I was ten years old. It's hard to imagine many people experiencing something like that recently. This movie feels like an important and influential work of cinema. Beyond the impressive visuals, it explores themes of morality, power, liberty, and self-governance, examining what those concepts really mean. The writing is a bit awkward at times—especially Sir Alec Guinness’s lines—but that's easily overlooked thanks to John Williams’ incredible music and the captivating performances from Hamill, Fisher, and Ford. And then there's "Darth Vader," who is simply the greatest villain ever put on screen. It’s really a fantastic film to watch.
