I'll admit I’m coming at this from a place of fondness, as I really enjoy this film. Jason Statham and Melissa McCarthy have great chemistry together in their respective parts, and while Jude Law delivers an acceptable performance, the movie truly revolves around Melissa and Jason for me. The dialogue given to Jason Statham's character is quite harsh, but it’s necessary to portray him as he needs to be. He's genuinely very funny! Melissa feels similarly suited to her role; she embodies perfectly the analyst who must go undercover, replacing other agents whose covers have been blown. There are many opportunities for laughter throughout the film, and it is remarkably simple to find enjoyment in every moment. A word of caution: if this style of humor appeals to you, it’s fantastic. However, if you dislike films with silly behavior—like those found in *Mr. Bean* or *Dumb and Dumber*, for example—this probably isn't the movie for you. But if you appreciate absurd comedy, I suggest watching it; it’s a gem!
