It’s refreshing that the "Spider-man" series appears to be doing things differently from many other film franchises, with each installment improving upon the last. The interaction between Tom Holland's Spider-Man and Jake Gyllenhaal's character is a highlight, and now that the secret of Spidey’s identity isn’t being hidden, there’s room for more thorough character development; MJ’s role (played by Marisa Tomei) also feels more substantial as a result. The movie moves at a brisk pace, it's enjoyable to watch, and the story is well-constructed. Notably, the computer-generated imagery enhances the film instead of dominating it. It's quite good, and I’d like to see more like this.
