This was entertaining, but there are some serious problems that stood out. SPOILERS AHEAD: First off, how many times are we going to have this situation where characters refuse to just explain what’s wrong? We spent a significant portion of the film with Jean causing trouble for Peter simply because he got in her path. Did she never consider trying to talk things out and say something like, "Those people have my sister, and you're being an idiot!" Seriously? Are we repeating this rescue sequence again? It feels like Damage Control has been running wild ever since WandaVision and Ms. Marvel. How are they still functioning without anyone keeping an eye on them? And how is Metzger still free? It’s similar to what happened with Kingpin at the end of Daredevil Season 2: a lot of philosophical nonsense, but no real justice. There's no accountability for Sara, Jean, or Metzger’s actions. I can’t accept explanations that dismiss these things as unimportant. Were the events of Daredevil Season 2 too minor to warrant Yelena making an appearance? And what about Xavier? Is he being overlooked because of something similar? I'm considering lowering my rating from an 8 to a 7, because these significant issues bothered me quite a bit.
