Hitchcock’s latest crime thriller is surprisingly good. It feels different from his other films, yet the plot manages to stay engaging thanks to its many unexpected developments. Ingrid Bergman portrays a compassionate psychologist who develops feelings for a new physician at the mental institution where she works; however, there's reason to suspect he isn’t what he appears to be. I feel bad for you, Ms. Bergman—it seems like you’ve become attached to someone unstable.
