Keanu Reeves performs well as Jack Traven, a resourceful LAPD officer, while Sandra Bullock’s presence provides warmth and humor amidst the turmoil. Their interactions are genuinely enjoyable to observe as their relationship develops under duress. Dennis Hopper's portrayal of the antagonist is delightfully theatrical, contributing just the right degree of threat.
