It’s enjoyable, I’d happily watch it again, and I feel comfortable suggesting it to others. The film was quite popular when it came out, and aside from the appearance of the Xenos, it remains a solid movie. The way they chose to reveal the monster—avoiding a direct “monster movie” approach—is interesting because the story focuses on how intricate and dangerous the Xenos is. However, this choice diminishes some of the tension associated with tracking and sneaking around; it almost portrays her as someone being pursued by a malevolent government organization. While the film could have been significantly different, and perhaps even better, if it had adopted a style similar to “The Thing,” where clues about her identity are scarce, that would essentially transform it into a spy story. I believe they handled this aspect effectively. It simply doesn't possess the same depth of subtlety or concealed details typically found in espionage and suspense films. It’s more akin to "Aliens" than "Alien."
