This film has to be considered among the worst releases of the year. It’s an incredibly blatant display of poor writing, unconvincing performances, and obvious advertising that feels like they should have simply handed out promotional items as people walked out of the theater, already regretting their choice and sporting a Warner Brothers logo somewhere on their skin. The plot revolves around the son of LeBron James being taken by a malevolent artificial intelligence. To save him, LBJ must team up with a new friend, Bugs Bunny, to assemble a squad capable of defeating an AI-chosen basketball team. That’s essentially all there is to it – the human characters are completely underdeveloped, and while seeing some classic Warner Bros. animation on the big screen is initially pleasant, that fleeting sense of nostalgia quickly disappears due to how silly everything is. It's unclear who the intended audience might be, but it certainly wasn't me.
