There’s something that feels off about *'Space Cowboys'*. It's enjoyable enough, but I consistently feel like it’s plodding along without much energy. I had higher hopes given the actors involved, and honestly, they don’t quite live up to expectations. That said, my feelings are based on what I was hoping for; Eastwood is dependable as always, Tommy Lee Jones delivers a good performance, and Donald Sutherland too, and the story is acceptable—though it could have been shorter by about 15 to 25 minutes. An interesting detail is that Jon Hamm makes his first film appearance here. It’s almost something you'd forget about, but not unpleasant. I’m giving it a 3-star rating.
