There's a lot I found agreeable about this, even if it wasn’t something I particularly enjoyed. The acting was strong; there were moments of effective shouting, though perhaps a bit excessive at times. It gives off the impression of being designed for awards consideration, or destined to collect indie film festival laurels. It’s unfortunate for the young actor involved. Some peculiar events unfold. The conclusion feels superfluous. I'm not sure what point it's trying to make; I have no investment in that character whatsoever. There was a striking minivan. It seems wasteful to expend so much effort on the promotional artwork. Sovereign 2 will apparently include the child. The child is now older and primarily concerned with high-stakes schemes orchestrated by powerful sovereigns, alongside corrupt religious leaders they’ve aligned themselves with. They claim to act in accordance with divine authority; Ze acts out of a desire for retribution.
