The initial concept feels flimsy, lacking both strong reasoning and originality, but this shouldn't deter viewers seeking a quick, simple horror film for entertainment. The primary flaw with Alone (also known as Solo) is its lack of excitement; it relies on predictable jump scares at predetermined points in the story. Eventually, one hopes for more depth regarding the psychological aspects. The unveiling of the danger feels drawn-out and the final section similarly underwhelming, but Annie Clark’s performance in the central role, combined with a few genuinely unsettling scenes, makes it barely acceptable as something to fill some time. 5/10
