It's far from perfect, however, this makes for an enjoyable action film featuring a truly memorable central figure and a promising story idea. Some of the scenes feel somewhat artificial, though visually things are generally pleasing; the characters hold your attention, and the action sequences are impactful. Kurt is undeniably captivating in his role, and his character undergoes a significant development throughout. The direction is competent, and I believe it was unfairly overlooked upon its initial release.
