It’s a difficult and upsetting experience to sit through. The show evokes a wide range of feelings in the viewer. It doesn’t offer solutions to the issues it portrays, and while we all know these kinds of things occur, witnessing them firsthand is deeply unsettling. Given the present conversations surrounding race, seeing this story is valuable, but be warned: it's an intense watch featuring characters who are often unpleasant.
