While it doesn’t maintain its initial promise throughout, *Snowball Express* remains an enjoyable film overall. Dean Jones, as Johnny, delivers the strongest performance among the cast, with Harry Morgan (Jesse) coming in a close second. Keenan Wynn is acceptable as Ridgeway, but I don't particularly care for his work—and that’s unfortunate since he seems to be consistently portraying similar roles. The story and its unfolding are adequate; it wasn’t significantly better or worse than it could have been. It didn't live up to my expectations of humor, nor does the film itself seem to think it’s as funny as it is trying to be, though there are a few amusing moments that elicited some laughter. It isn't anything extraordinary, but it might be worthwhile watching just to see if you find something appealing in it.
