It's enjoyable and worth rewatching, and I’d suggest it, particularly for an evening dedicated to watching not-so-great films. Considering how flawed the starting idea is, the movie surprisingly manages to work fairly well. It definitely qualifies as a bad film, but that doesn’t stop it from being amusing. The snakes move and spread with a similar rhythm to something like "the blob," gradually infiltrating the plane and consuming people little by little. The film might have been disastrous without experienced performers like Samuel L. Jackson or Kenan Thompson to keep things on track. A sense of believability isn't even attempted. While pheromones can indeed trigger certain actions, snakes don’t typically demonstrate loyalty to one another, particularly across different species. Once you suspend your disbelief and accept the initial setup, every absurd event becomes humorous, and there's a constant feeling of suspense because you never know where the snakes will appear next. There's also the unsettling possibility that the entire environment could simply collapse, potentially ending everything even if enough people survive the snake attacks with a sudden crash. I suspect we could have had a genuinely good movie here, but for now, laughing at this one should be entertaining.
