Kim Gook Hee portrays "Min Jeong," and Yoon Kyung-ho plays her actor husband, "Hyun-su," who finds himself with unexplained scratches on his face one morning. He initially attributes it to stress, but strange nighttime eating and sleepwalking incidents lead them to seek medical attention. The doctor observes erratic REM sleep patterns and prescribes medication, seemingly resolving the issue. However, events then escalate into something stranger, particularly noticeable by their dog. With the arrival of a new downstairs neighbor, "Jung Yu-mi," who turns out to be the daughter of the previous tenant—someone the couple had a strained relationship with—a sense of unsettling mystery arises, prompting them to question whether they're losing their minds or experiencing something supernatural. There are moments that feel delightfully surreal, and Kim Gook Hee and Lee Sun-kyun have good chemistry as the narrative unfolds in an unusual way, interspersed with dark humor. I found myself enjoying the final ten minutes, despite how silly they were. Considering the typically formulaic and uninspired nature of much recent light horror, this film provides a fresh perspective on its subject matter, managing to blend amusement, mysticism, and absurdity within ninety minutes. It's not frightening in any way, so it might be wise to secure your power tools!
