It’s an enjoyable film and one I wouldn’t mind seeing again, and I can suggest it to others. I don’t imagine many people will make this a repeat viewing, but I do think it's distinctive enough to become known for something. This is the movie featuring the doll with elaborate hair. My main issue lies in the fact that the central characters are dishonest and deceitful individuals; while the opposing force is eccentric, he’s positioned as the bad guy simply because he exposes their wrongdoing. The way he then exploits this information feels almost like a heroic trope, but it's warped by his erratic behavior. I would really be interested in seeing a reimagining of this with Schwartzman playing the lead role; if that were accompanied by some meaningful development for his character, it could become something truly great. As it stands now, I’d say it’s at least a worthwhile film.
